I have used polarized lenses before, but comparing these lenses to cheaper plastic ones is like comparing filet mignon to ground chuck. The style is great, but I really bought them for the durability and fit. I have owned several pairs of Ray-Bans over the years. Those glasses are perhaps more stylish (according to opinion) and have come in my preferred black lens color rather than these which are brown. But those other glasses don't make the colors pop out and heighten the contrast like these do. After wearing them for three hours in high contrast late afternoon road glare I will never go back to any other sunglasses for day-to-day driving. Highly recommended.
