This pair is just as high quality as the first pair I purchased, several years ago. The brown tint of the lenses, captures the blue light, giving extra clarity to vision, and the polarization virtually eliminates glare. I also like the special nose pads and pads on the ends of the frames behind your ears. They are a very comfortable fix, and you hardly notice you're wearing them. I know I'll have several years of great service from them.....and the lifetime warranty is just what it says....lifetime. Smith Optics will honor it as long as you own the sunglasses.
Mine came with a nice hard Smith case, with a snap shut fastener, that would have easily cost an extra $20. in a retail store. (I've checked)
