(More customer reviews)I replaced my 10yo Ray Ban slim aviators with this pair recently. Amazon had a good price on these; and they are a great deal when compared with other name-brand polarized glasses. I would not recommend them for driving if your dashboard has a lot of LCD displays, the polarization will effect visibility of the LCD at certain angles.
I use them while driving (only my radio display is LCD) and all around bright conditions. They are light and functional and they work very well for me. Only con is that because they are frameless, I tend to get them smugged up from normal handling, so I keep the sunglasses cleaning cloth (supplied) handy...

Optic Nerve Photomatic Halogyn, Black Frame Review

(More customer reviews)These are a very neat concept by Optic Nerve. I am most impressed that they are made from 100% recycled materials.
I also like the concept of ultra-light transition sports sunglasses that do not fog up. My applications are skiing, biking & motorcycling, racquetball, and a few other outdoor sports.
I will add that I wouldn't wear them as everyday sunglasses - they wrap around the face, and seem a bit silly unless you're using them for a sports application.
I will also add that these are NOT impact resistant sports frames. Only the lenses are impact resistant - the frames are not intended for use in racquetball or when you need face protection. I only wear them if I've forgotten my proper goggles.
The lenses don't get quite as dark as advertised, probably 70% compared to my el cheapo sunglasses. My old, heavy transition lenses (made from real glass) got darker, but then again, the Optic Nerves sunglasses only weight .75 ounces. Yes, that's not a typo - less than 1 ounce. They are the lightest sunglasses I've ever worn... but that means no metal parts except for the screws, and except for the lenses probably not very durable.
The fit is also not fantastic. A little tight on my face (the wrap-around design makes them impossible to adjust), and the temples are not adjustable. Additionally, the silicone nose pads are adjustable up, but not down. The frames sit too high on my face, and there's no way to adjust them down unless I wear them on the tip of my nose.
Bottom line: Cool concept; Price point to too high; I like the transition but I wish they got a little darker; Anti-fog feature is really cool; Recycled materials are very impressive; Frame is light weight but doesn't seem durable enough; and they don't adjust well. 3.5 stars from me.

Hardtop XP Platinum/Blue Reflex 000 by Native Eyewear Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased these glasses a little over a year ago. I thought they were pricey for what they are, but, they have a lifetime warranty. They fit great and are so light you don't know you have them on. The warranty is a joke. I just had one of the sidearm pivots break and contacted Native about warranty repair. The said I could purchase the parts on their internet site. Warranty? ????? If there was something that was covered it would cost $30 service fee plus cost of shipping. This does not include lenses so I am not sure what would be covered. Anyway I went online and the sidearms with sports band, that broke, is not available. I did not buy these on Amazon(should have). They cost me $129 which for what you get is ridiculous.

Bolle Prescription Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)In combination with the Vigilante frame, which has an extreme lens curvature, and, the use of transition lenses in the adapter, leads to an annoying visual experience. Everything that you look at seems farther away than it really is. If you look down, you are in a valley; if you look up as I do, flying radio controlled, model helicopters, everything seems farther away than expected.
I believe that the adapter is only suitable for a one optical lens application. Any curved lens in front of a transition lens distorts the view.

Bike Peddler Take A Look Cycling Eyeglass Mirror Helmet Adaptor Kit Review

(More customer reviews)First off, I love the Take A Look mirror. I recommend that product without reservation.
That said, this adapter did not work on my Atmos. The positioning of the straps and support system on that particular lid won't let me mount the adapter in any usable position. But I am not going to base my product score on that. I think helmet designs are diverse enough that it would be nearly impossible to design a simple adapter that worked on all of them.
But about the adapter, it is just a small piece of plastic with mounting adhesive. It is transparent so it won't be an eyesore when the mirror is not mounted. Simple and effective design. Can't say much more about it.
I like the idea of having the option to mount the mirror on my glasses or helmet, and if this product would mount on my hardhat, it would be well worth the price and I would use it and love it. Sorry to report that I cannot use it. I will just continue mounting the excellent mirror on my sunglasses.

Native Eyewear Attack Sunglasses Review

(More customer reviews)Over the years I've bought many sunglasses out of necessity, but this is the first one that I actually like to wear. The nose pads and temple boots of this product are very good in that it doesn't cause me any pain even if I wear it for hours. This is not for a person with a small head, though.
It comes with 3 pairs of lenses. I like the bronze reflex the most. (But the reflex models cost 20 USD more.)
It comes with a semi-hard case. It is probably good for protecting the glasses, but it's too bulky to carry it around and I don't use it. Fortunately the lenses and the frame are both quite durable it seems, and I haven't had any issue yet.
I've lost this in the airport after a year or so of use, and bought the same one. Native Eyewear doesn't list this model on their web page any more, so I guess this model is discontinued. If I lose this, I'll probably buy another Native product, but I'll miss the design of Attack.

One note......the bright gold mirror look in the picture is not a true representation of the actual color. The actual color has more of a brown/gold look to it and has less mirror effect. Regardless, they still look cool, and the vision quality is ideal for all conditions.
