I bought this pair for my father. They are classic and the lens are great. With the quality, they are not expensive at all. It was unavailable when I placed an order so the seller informed me I had to wait for several days, but it turned out that within a week the package arrived safe and sound.

Serengeti Salto Drivers Sunglasses (S-Flex - Tannery Collection) Review

Serengeti Salto Drivers Sunglasses (S-Flex - Tannery Collection)
Average Reviews:

This Salto Drivers model is another outstanding Serengeti product. The clarity and coverage is excellent providing natural colors from dawn to dusk, without the impracticality of over darkening found on some gray lenses of other manufacturs. I had a pair of Serengeti Aviators that I really enjoyed and when my car was burglarized, they were gone for good. Though they were a more expensive set, I'm more than happy with the more wraparound feature of these Salto Drivers. Hard to go wrong with Serengetis. I only wish they would include a micro Phillips screw driver in the sunglasses case.

Nice sunglasses, but they fell apart less than two weeks after I received them. The bridge attaches to the lenses with almost microscopic screws which refuse to stay fastened. I have had to give up on them. I really regret this purchase, huge waste of money.

For the price about the best deal on Serengeti sunglasses going. If you have used this brand of sunglasses before you know there is a huge difference in these vs. cheap ones. I am a commercial airline pilot and love the lenses because they are not too dark. You can wear them as you go from full sun to full cloud and your vision is not disrupted. I keep them in my flight bag and wear them exclusively every time I go to work.

Thes zina 6962 has an excellent lense, although polarised, not reflective or mirrored as with the grey zina model. The frame is sleek, and fits a narrow face best. if you are very wide from temple to temple these will likely be an extremely tight to impossible fit.
I like the shape of this frame because it is not big and goofy or ornamented like so many pairs are. Hits just below the eyebrow, and is a flattering fit for a narrow, angular face.

Had a chance to briefly try these out and I did not like them due to its design and color. They felt & looked like the crap you find in department stores on the swivel racks. The +'s to this model is its weight (good for active sports I guess), will fit larger faces and lens are typical Serengeti phenomenal. The PHD lens while on paper may sound as if its better 'optically' than the glass lens, I can say with surety thats it isn't. I'm gonna say its even and thats definitely a good thing.

Serengeti Velocity Drivers Gradient Sunglasses Review

Serengeti Velocity Drivers Gradient Sunglasses

It has been too long since I had a good quality pair of sunglasses. After buying this pair I remembered how much better I could see with well made, glass lenses. I have owned Serengetis in the past, and these are better than my last pair. They are a bit larger in diameter and look more fashionable as a result. The frames are well made with good hinges and springs to the temples that allow them to flex to fit your face. The are a bit heavier on the face than a pair of polycarbonate lenses, but you can tell the difference immediately. Colors are brighter and clearer. I also like the gradient feature while driving. Inside the car is clear and less shaded when looking down while they are darker at the middle and top of the lenses to protect even more from the bright sunlight.

A favorite of pilots and drivers alike, Serengeti's stylish Velocity sunglasses are perfectly suited to any travel medium, from the road to the air to the water. The Velocity glasses feature your choice of four frame colors (gunmetal, shiny gold, espresso, and shiny silver) and three glass types (drivers' gradient, 555nm, and drivers' polarized), depending on your situation. The drivers' gradient lenses are built for anyone requires eye protection in addition to a crystal-clear view, such as pilots. The 555nm lenses, meanwhile, maximize green and yellow to produce greater contrast and clarity, making them ideal for bright light conditions. And drivers' polarized lenses perform exceptionally well under cloudy and harsh light conditions, with a design that filters the glare to protect your eyes. All the lenses are made from the finest material in the world--with advanced molecular technology that's engineered into the glass itself--helping them last a lifetime with proper care.
Serengeti Molecular Technologies Some of the most fascinating technology in the car isn't a part of the car at all. For example, every pair of Serengeti sunglasses is equipped with photochromic technology, which helps the sunglass lenses change as quickly as the scenery. With photochromic lenses, the molecules inside the lenses adjust to the changing light conditions, causing them to lighten and darken automatically. The keeps your eyes from straining or growing tired, as the lenses do most of the work for you. Plus, the photochromic technology is inherent in the glass, so it never wears off or wears out. The lenses also offer Spectral Control technology, which provides unparalleled hi-def contrast and superior color enhancement by filtering specific colors from the visible light spectrum. This, in turn, results in crisper color and clearer images. In addition, Spectral Control lenses block the distracting blue light that causes blurring, minimizing eyestrain and eye fatigue. Finally, many of Serengeti's glasses include polarized lenses with glare reduction technology. Light tends to bounce and reflect off a myriad of surfaces, such as water, snow, or the road. Serengeti polarizing technology, however, removes the glare--and the stress it causes on your eyes. Serengeti's eye protection goes well beyond government and commercial standards, helping your eyes stay sharp and stay safe.

Frame color: Gunmetal, shiny gold, espresso, and shiny silver
