(More customer reviews)I hate to write this review, and I hope my experience is way outside the norm, but it was very disappointing.
I had a pair of Serengeti's about 20+ years ago, for 6 - 7 years and was quite happy with them. I hadn't had a pair of "good" sunglasses since, and thought it was time to treat myself. I ordered this pair just before leaving on a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.
They came quickly, in typical Amazon fashion, and all looked good initially. A sharp looking pair of shades! I put them on, and although a bit heavy due to the glass lenses, they fit well, with the "S" frame design hugging my face nicely. I tried them on around the house for a few minutes, and thought all was well. However, when I took them off, I noticed one of the lenses had cracked/starred in the corner from the stress of the "S" frame tension! In less than 5 minutes! Wow, was that disappointing.
I have to say Amazon stood behind them, and refunded my money very quickly. Not sure I want to try another pair though. YMMV.

Cons: easy to scratch them, have to handle them with care. If you drop them is too probable the lenses scratches.
Serengueti's plastic lenses are not as good as Serengeti's glass lenses, optics changes when light is reflected on water. Although, you get use to it.

(More customer reviews)These are amazing, very comfortable sunglasses. Overall a must for fashion and accessory conscious person. Suits on both male and female faces. I have Maui Jim Sandalwood as well but some how i do not get the HD feel from them (they too are very nice sunglasses by the way). The Serengeti lenses give engraved feeling on the surroundings. Last but not least, the frame is a treat to wear, absolutely no pressure at all either sideways or on nose.
Will surely buy more.

(More customer reviews)Recently received the Dante 7267, and knowing the model and 4 digit is very important when purchasing and comparing, and these are very fine glasses. Pure quality, fit very nicely on a med/large face. Lens are large enough to do the job, arms are perfect for an average male head/face, bridge excellent. Perfect glasses. I've owned Serengeti's, RayBans, etc..and by far the finest driver/general purpose/golf/boating glasses are Serengeti wire frames. They look classy, function perfect, excellent optics and are very dressy. You'll get comments on them. Very excellent purchase. Buy them. I believe they come out of Japan. Not China.

Where I live, the sun is very bright when it is sunny and the driving conditions on the roads are constantly shifting due to the shady areas, tunnels, and then open road. I have plexiglass lenses in both eyes from cataract surgery, so I need particularly clear and efficient sunglasses. These, I would say, are the finest lenses I have ever put on my nose. The frames are lightweight and very comfortable and secure, under every driving condition. I spend most of my time on a scooter as it is the only way to get around in the city here, so these glasses offer me protection from the light and foreign objects as well as the wind.
I recommend Serengeti Sunglasses whole heartedly to anyone who needs a pair of finely manufactured dark lenses in front of their eyes while driving or pursuing any other activity.

(More customer reviews)These glasses are a perfect choice for drivers looking to reduce glare and reflections without sacrificing clarity or depth perception. I have a black car with a tan interior and in bright light had substantial difficulty seeing the road through the reflection of the dashboard. I tried the regular "Drivers" lenses and they did not reduce the reflection substantially. The Polarized Drivers do the trick. The glasses do in fact reduce glare and reflections while improving clarity and depth perception. A must for drivers with light colored dashboards.
