My sister is a "Ray-ban" girl and is generally very picky about her apparel and accessories. I bought them to go with her Christmas gift...she's a huge Jacksonville Jags fan! She liked them so much that she ended up wearing them all through Christmas, even in the house! They looked really good on, too. I was really surprised at the durability of them for such a great price and they came in a cool little NFL nylon case as well. These are an awesome gift for less than $20, but they certainly look like they cost a lot more!! Will absolutely look to order more for upcoming B-days and next Christmas.

I actually found these for half price on another website after I already ordered from amazon, so I was going to return it to amazon because I never paid this much for a pair of sunglasses before.
Well, a few days went by and it seems the company canceled the order because they didnt have them in stock. But I already have been wearing these glasses for a while and fell in love with them, so I believe I may have to just suck it up and keep these glasses paying the full price for them.
But honestly, they are worth it. They actually add contrast making life look as if it was in high definition. And they are very light weight, so you barely even notice they are on your face.
Ive owned a few pair of Bolle' sunglasses before and I loved them as well. They make great quality glasses that dont look rediculous like most other glasses such as oakleys, or nerdy and boring like raybans. This pair seems similar to another pair of gargoyles I owned.
The reason I dont usually drop this much on glasses is because I am always losing them or scratching them. The past 10 years Ive been sticking to cheap pairs from target or walmart, but now after having these I will never wear a cheap pair again. They break easily, they are unfortable, steam up, scratch easily, and never fit well.
I guess I am just going to have to be extra cautious with this pair. highly recommend!

I have owned 4 pairs, 2 pairs of black and 2 pairs of brown.
For the price they are a great deal for stylish yet functional glasses.
I very much like the large lenses that give better peripheral and frontal vision.
There's no magnification or distortion from the lenses.
They don't fog easily, great for keeping things out of your eyes.
The frames are well built and styled for larger heads, the arms wrap and fit the skull well and don't fall off easily, the hinges are super durable.
The lenses don't fall out easily unless dropped hard.
The black lenses are a lot darker than the brown.
And the brown are a little bit nicer for afternoon driving than the black.
But if you need to block some sun(sunrise or sunset, ocean glare) use the black.
I had 2 pairs for 2 years and put them through a bit of rugged usage, skateboarding, fishing, driving, running, wood working, etc.
Eventually I scratched the lenses up too much and the frames exterior gloss coat started de-laminating on the black pair from sweat.
But this is after ALOT of daily wear! I tried to buy another 2 pairs from Chick's in Vista but they were bought out and discontinued carrying this awesome item!
So I bought another 2 pairs on Amazon and I'm stoked.
The nice part to is that they have continued to make these glasses so I don't have to go out and figure out what fits again.
Hopefully S4 continues to keep this line active, they're some of the best glasses I've ever had!!
I only wish they'd make these with clear lenses as safety glasses too!!

(More customer reviews)I fell in love with these sunglasses after trying them on at a local retail store. Except I tried on the pair that had non-polarized lenses. I ordered the polarized lenses because I spend a lot of time on the water (ocean) but when I received the glasses I noticed the lenses are not very dark at all. Oakley rates these lenses at a 3/4 (4/4 is considered very dark and not recommended to wear while driving.) except I don't think the lenses are dark enough (thats why I only have 4 stars instead of 5) Another problem I have is the glasses do NOT come with a hard case, only a soft bag. After spending $120 on glasses I think a hard case should be included. Over all I am very happy with the glasses, just don't expect dark lenses or a hard case, but you can expect a quality product from Oakley.

The frames are extremely durable. My last Optic Nerve pair ("Bohemian") lasted for five years before I finally caved and bought new ones due to scratched lenses. I like the orange-brown shading to the lenses a lot. Optic Nerve produces really excellent sunglasses for your money -- I will never go with any other brand.
