(More customer reviews)I've bought a few of these glasses over the years. These were the first pair of shooting glasses I bought. I have used them while firing off airguns, but never actual firearms. I'm no firearm safety expert.
These get the majority of their use while riding my motorcycle. Having your motorcycle helmet visor up on a hot day is an invitation to take a bug to the eye at 80 mph. With these glasses on, I have taken bugs and small rocks to the face with no concern about the glasses shattering in my eye. They do get scratched up on random occasions, so I buy them in pairs to ensure a reserve pair exists. I bought another pair of shooting glasses I thought were more stylish only to find that they weren't nearly as comfortable as these. These have nice rubber grips on the sides that are gentle on your head and ears.
The lenses are very dark. This is a plus for me, but I was surprised the first time I put them on. They are darker than other sunglasses I've worn. They are darker than most other shooting glasses with smoked lenses.
Note that the Smith & Wesson logo eventually rubs off with everyday use.

Resists shattering from freeway debris
CHEAP!
Perform excellently as everyday sunglasses
Comfortable
Cons:
Scratch pretty easily
Not my favorite style
But I give them five stars because I've tried alternatives and found nothing better for eye safety while riding on the bike at any price. The fact that these are so cheap makes the cons easy to overlook.

Great for anyone with sensitive eyes due to contacts/etc. The lenses don't look very dark when they adjust to sunlight, but you're never uncomfortable unless you look directly at the sun. Great glasses for motorcycle riders.

Anarchy Men's Control Resin Sunglasses Review

The construction is sturdy and the hinges have only loosened a little bit over the past year (acceptable in my opinion). I like the way the frame fits my face as the they are not too big like some of the popular sunglass styles that are out there. I would recommend these to family and friends.

the hinges do feel a bit cheap and squeak for a while, but they work themselves into shape soon enough.

They originally have a pic showing just the insert which is exactly the same as mine, but as of writing this comment they have changed the picture to show the glasses - but I still can see it is the wrong one. See my 'customer image'. Obviously, Adidas has a few versions of insert, if they cannot put they right pic they should've put the product code in the description. Wasted my money as I had mine forwarded internationally which made return not possible.

Also, I prefer riding glasses to be a little snug so they don't shift or fly off going over rough trail, and these are just about perfect.

But in regard to these shades, they're excellent. Good design, nothing overly fancy but good quality black shades, polarized, good fit, good optics, great price= very happy. Strongly recommend you pick these up as your all around shades you won't be disappointed. A lot of good looking glasses of the medium price range aren't well made, don't fit tightly enough and you cannot do much active with them. But in these I run, bike, snowboard, boat and have even worn them while wakeboarding. They're a great buy.

I have always had a difficult time finding sunglasses because (in my opinion) the clarity was always an issue. Either they were not dark enough or too dark. With this model it is not a problem. In fact, it cuts the glare of the sun and with the polarization adds visual definition. Additionally, this seller sold these for about 30 dollars cheaper than other places. That is a great bargain!

Most glasses in this style are pretty wide and sit out more on the sides. If that's what your looking for than these are not for you.
For those looking for a lite, plastic frame sunglass, these are great for the price, polarized, and nice looking with the only downside being a little small and narrow. Other than that, they are a decent buy.

Suncloud Optics Habit Sunglasses Review

(More customer reviews)Suncloud is the "bargain" line of Smith sunglasses. I've been a loyal Smith customer for years, and have owned several pairs. I was recently in the market for a new pair of polarized sunglasses and had been exclusively looking at Smiths, most of which (in the styles I like) started at $120 or more (retail). However, when I was trying on some Smiths, I noticed the Suncloud display nearby. I thought I'd check them out - and, as far as I could tell, they were pretty much the same as the Smiths! No, the frames aren't as sturdy, and I doubt the optics are as high quality (but they seem comparable when you read the specs on the two websites - both have 8 base curve polycarbonate lenses), but at 40% of the price of comparable Smith glasses, how can you go wrong? (These are pretty much equivalent in terms of quality to the Smith Omni, which Smith itself calls their "bargain" model.)
Having owned the two pairs of Smith Methods, which I really like, I ended up buying the Habits. The Habits are much lighter than the Methods and, unlike the Methods, have the megol nose and ear pads, keeping them from slipping off when things get hot and sweaty. Other than slightly narrower ear pieces (and no Smith logo), they are pretty much identical. Plus, they're 40% the price of the Methods! Can't wait to see how they hold up over time but, like Smith, Suncloud has a lifetime warranty, so no worries.
