Otter Box 8000 Waterproof Case Yellow Review

Otter Box 8000 Waterproof Case Yellow

The OtterBox 8000 is a sturdy container that I use canyoneering for a Canon Powershot A95 digital camera. The OtterBox has been through many slot canyons in Arizona and Utah and has survived greater than 20 feet direct and sliding drops onto mud and water surfaces. It has been scraped through sandstone walls and not come open. It has been submerged, splashed and rained on repeatedly. My only complaints are that after multiple uses, the belt clip has bent slightly open which causes it to slip easily off the backpack belt. An underside attachment to this would be nice. I notified OtterBox regarding the belt clip and they sent me a new one, free of charge, within two days.
Also, the black cord that I use to tether the OtterBox to the backpack loop itself has come apart on more than one occasion at the plastic-toothed hinge. The black cord could be longer so as to be able to girth-hitch the OtterBox onto the backpack belt loop without causing the plastic-toothed hinge to pop open. Other than these minor inconveniences, it serves its purpose very well.

Smith Phenom Turbo Fan Ski Goggle Replacement Lens - Sensor Mirror - PH5Z Review

BUYERS BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY THROUGH SwingSomeWhere - HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION and customer service!
I ordered these lenses through Amazon.com via SwingSomeWhere on January 27 and was given confirmation that they would arrive no later than February 5. On February 8 I attempted to contact the company because my product still hadn't arrived and I had no communication of what the status was. I contacted SwingSomeWhere numerous times via phone, email, and voice mail over a 3-day period, but still received no response and had no idea what was going on with my order. When I was finally able to get in touch with someone, I was told the lenses weren't in stock (Amazon states these are IN STOCK) and they didn't know when they were arriving... why wasn't I given any communication of this sooner!? On February 12 I got in contact with SwingSomeWhere again and was told that my order was scheduled to be canceled... again, why was this not communicated to me!? Mike, who is the Smith buyer for SwingSomeWhere, reassured me that my order would not be canceled, and a shipment of the lenses was scheduled to arrive on February 15. Mike promised that he would expedite these lenses to me so that I would receive them no later than February 17; on February 16 I got an email saying that my order had been canceled! This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had buying through Amazon! SwingSomeWhere has terrible customer service and ever worse communication.

OtterBox Waterproof Universal Case (Blue) Review

OtterBox Waterproof Universal Case (Blue)
Average Reviews:

The box seems very strong. It is watertight and floats(tested in pool). I would say its priced relatively well.
Dont be cheap and skimp on protection if you buy something expensive(like a new camera!), that would be idiotic.
I trust it with my new Canon G11
I wish it came with the pick n pluck foam
update: I took this on a backpacking trip in Alaska (rain much?). Worked perfect. Other people had their DSLR's in ziplocks, that wont cut it. Some of them had water damage, not me. I bought some of the Pelican pick n pluck foam to keep my camera in place. DO NOT SKIMP ON PROTECTION

We bought these glasses for my 14 year old son. He LOVES them. They fit very well (he is a good size kid). They look awesome.

If you\'re done being a slave to stale ideas, the Sideways from Oakley is how you bust out of the straight-and-narrow. Each stem of this lightweight acetate frame is signed with a tilted, inlaid metal icon and highlighted with chiseled grooves. The lenses are shaped with 8.75 base curvature, which means they wrap around your eyes to extend peripheral vision. Optical precision meets ANSI Z80.3 standards with the innovations of High Definition Optics (HDO®), including XYZ Optics for startling clarity at every angle of view. This durable pair of sunglasses is engineered with sculpturally integrated hinges and matched with Plutonite lenses for impact protection that meets ANSI Z87.1 standards, and the lens material filters out 100% of all UV.

Bought these for my wife. They look great and she loves the blue highlights. They don't look too narrow, but she does complain about them pinching the side of her head a little.

...like mine. I shopped for a long time before ordering these. I've had Ray-Bans for years, but decided to buy Oakleys this time because they are US made. That being said, the optics are superior (I got the polarized version), and this is a durable set of shades. A very good purchase for me.

Oakley Men's Scalpel Iridium Sport Sunglasses Review

Unboxing of the Oakley Scalpel. Dark Grey with Positive Red Iridium lens (OO9095-04). This pair of shades is just beautiful! Very very striking indeed and is sure to make heads turn... The fit is very good on my face. Its just perfect. Not too lose, not too tight. Its very lightweight too and the frame feels very durable. The lenses look really good and the visibility behind the lenses is very clear... As always, Oakley hasn't failed to impress me with their product. Highly recommended!

This is sculpture mixed with science, and there\'s a reason behind every curve. The side-to-side contour of a lens can make or break peripheral vision. The Scalpel has a full 8.75 base curvature to open your range of view. That much of a contour leads to optical distortion in ordinary sunglasses but this is engineered with XYZ Optics® to maintain critical clarity along the entire lens curve. You\'ll have added protection against sun, wind and side impact. As a matter of fact, this design meets all ANSI Z87.1 basic impact standards, and the pure Plutonite® lenses filter out 100% of all UV. The smooth sculptural contours are made of durable, lightweight O Matter, plus the stem sleeves got some special attention. Note how they wrap the ends and continue along the underside. They\'re made of Unobtainium®, a material that increases grip with sweat, and they\'re part of a Three-Point Fit that maintains comfort all day while holding the lenses in precise optical alignment.

Oakley Men's XS Fives Iridium Sunglasses Review

Oakley Men's XS Fives Iridium Sunglasses
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am an avid runner, bicyclist and outdoorsman. The Oakley XS Fives are the first quality sunglasses I've purchased that actually fit. I have a narrow facial structure and it is very hard to not have my face feel overwhelmed by glasses. The XS Fives look great, stay put and cut the glare from the winter sun and reflected light off the snow wonderfully. I am a 6 ft 180 lb 44 yr old man and am extremely glad I found these glasses. I even purchased a second pair in brown so I could have variety. I f Oakley makes a matte frame for the XS Fives, I'll get those too!

Even the world\'s best athletes start out small, so Oakley engineered a youth frame that\'s big on protection. The look is pure Oakley and the science is High Definition Optics (HDO®), a collection of technologies that maximize clarity. Pure Plutonitelenses filter out 100% of all UVA, UVB and UVC, and combined with this durable O Matter frame, they meet ANSI standards for impact resistance. The "XS" stands for "extra small," so these sunglasses are for the young and reckless.
