These Weir Signature sunglasses from Sundog are an excellent step up from other sunglasses brands and models I've tried in the past, and are rather suited for much more than just golf, as they're marketed for.
The polarized lenses provide a good amount of tint and the shape of the lenses wrap around nicely to cover the peripheral vision, whereas I've dealt with several instances of straighter-edge glasses that still allow direct sunlight through the sides and actually reflect it back off of the lens and into your eyes, which is a huge pain.
The mirrored lenses have their issue, that being that regular care and cleaning is required in order to keep smudges from fingers or hair, if yours is long enough to come into contact with the lenses, but really, this is solved with just a minute or two with a glasses cloth. They do, however, solve a drawback to the mirrored lens that I've noticed in the past, that being the weird reflection on the inside of the lens that appears at the right angle, where you see ghastly reflections of your own eyes reflected off the lens. I haven't noticed that with these, and as they are a bit of a nuisance, I'm glad.
All in all, this is a good product, and I would recommend it, especially with the price at under $100. Great value for this quality product.

Sundog Flight Sunglasses Review

My problem is I have a tendency to lose or break expensive sunglasses, but I also don't want to buy the really cheap drugstore brands because my primary use is for golfing, and it's important to have good quality lenses that don't distort. As far as clarity and protection, these Sundog Flight Sunglasses are excellent and seem to be on par with much higher priced brands like Oakley and RayBan - which I've had in the past. What I especially like about them is they are light, comfortable, and stay in place. When I tried them on in the store I could really feel the grip of the rubber nose pads. Because of this I knew they would stay in place, but was worried the nose pads would get annoying, or possibly give me a headache from the pressure. However, after the first hole I forgot I was wearing them. They ended up being very comfortable over time, and extremely secure. When I look down to address the ball they don't slip at all, and I never once recall having to adjust them or push them back in place.
I hope to keep these for a while, but if and when I lose or break them, I will definitely buy another pair at this price. My only complaint is they do seem to scratch easy, but the few scratches I've picked up are hardly noticeable, and don't affect vision.
